As so much we write online feels like personal communication on top of writing something that is to be read, I like to keep Carroll’s 9 rules for letter writing (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eight_or_Nine_Wise_Words_about_Letter-Writing#Nine_Rules) in mind as well. I feel like they make a great addition to Orwell’s 6 rules.
