This image brings me so much joy because of how I most recently came across it. In the video game Pentiment you play as a journeyman artist who works in a scriptorium, trying to finish your masterpiece. The main character Andreas is struggling with his faith, is in between phases in his life, and stuck on the artistic creation which brought him to the monastery. As someone who was raised Catholic, is an artist, and also unsure of the next phase of my life, I hold this character dearly to my <3.
